Story
From London to New York… 🗽🏃🏼♀️
I still can’t quite believe I’m writing this…
On 1st November, I’ll be running the New York City Marathon! 🥹🗽🏃🏼♀️
The NYC Marathon has been on my bucket list ever since I ran the London Marathon back in 2019. New York is one of my favourite cities in the world, so when this incredible opportunity came my way, there was absolutely no way I could say no!
There is just one tiny catch…
I have less than 8 weeks to get marathon ready 😅
It’s going to be my biggest challenge yet. I know the next eight weeks are going to fly by, and I’m going to have to trust my body, my previous marathon experience and all the training I can fit in along the way.
It’s going to be tough. It’s going to be emotional. And it’s going to be one hell of an adventure.
I’ll be raising money for Keep a Child Alive (KCA), a charity working to help children and families affected by HIV and AIDS, supporting access to life-saving treatment, care and support in communities that need it most.
Having the opportunity to run through the streets of New York, something I’ve dreamed about for years, while raising money for such an important cause makes this challenge feel even more meaningful.
So, if you’d like to be part of my journey, I would be incredibly grateful for your support. Every donation, however big or small, will help me turn these 26.2 miles into something that can make a real difference.
